Athletic Trainer

Middle school athletic trainers are  healthcare professionals that are responsible for preventing, assessing, treating, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries and illnesses in student-athletes. They educate athletes on injury prevention, evaluate injuries, provide immediate care, design rehabilitation programs, and respond to medical emergencies. Athletic trainers also collaborate with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers and maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments to ensure athletes receive appropriate care and support.
